RigConcierge Site Guidelines
At RigConcierge, our mission is to provide operator-led insights that help drilling engineers, superintendents, procurement teams, and other upstream professionals find and evaluate service providers accurately, efficiently, and responsibly. To achieve this goal, we rely on user-submitted reviews, comments, and ratings that reflect genuine firsthand experiences.
We want to maintain a platform that encourages constructive dialogue and fosters industry-wide improvements. Below are the guidelines all users must follow when posting content on our site.
1. Keep It Professional & Constructive
- Relevant to the Oilfield: Make sure your review or feedback relates to the service provider’s performance or the overall drilling operation. Off-topic or irrelevant comments may be removed.
- Facts Over Emotions: When possible, support your statements with concrete details—e.g., “They arrived 2 hours late on a 10-person cementing crew” is more helpful than “They were bad.”
- Aim to Improve the Industry: Offer constructive criticism or praise that helps others make informed decisions. Consider including suggestions if you had a poor experience (e.g., “The vendor could improve scheduling communications…”).
2. Protect Confidential & Proprietary Info
- No Sensitive Details: Refrain from posting confidential or proprietary information such as well logs, undisclosed technologies, or competitor pricing structures meant for private contracts.
- No Personal Data: Do not reveal personal phone numbers, personal emails, or other sensitive data regarding yourself or any third party.
3. Avoid Personal Attacks or Harassment
- Focus on Performance, Not Personality: Critiques should address service reliability, equipment quality, or timeliness—not personal attributes or unrelated behavior.
- No Bullying or Defamation: We remove content that is harassing, hateful, or threatening. Keep your feedback professional and relevant.
4. Inappropriate or Prohibited Content
We reserve the right to remove content that includes:
- Discriminatory Language: Slurs or offensive terms regarding race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any legally protected characteristic.
- Threats or Illegal Conduct: Encouraging violence, promoting illicit activities, or doxxing individuals or companies.
- Spam or Self-Promotion: Excessive linking, irrelevant promotions, or repetitive posting.
- Vulgarities or Obscenities: Inappropriate or profane language that doesn’t contribute to a constructive review.
- False or Misleading Claims: Content shown to be blatantly untrue, fabricated, or meant to deceive readers.
5. Be Honest & Transparent
- Your Actual Experience: Only post reviews about vendors you have personal experience with.
- No Faking: Don’t impersonate others, post multiple times under different identities, or coordinate false positive/negative reviews.
- Conflict of Interest: If you are employed by, affiliated with, or have a vested interest in a service provider, disclose that relationship if you choose to post a review.
6. Reporting & Dispute Resolution
- Flag Inappropriate Content: If you spot a review that violates these guidelines, use the “Report” or “Flag” button, or email [support@RigConcierge.com].
- Disputes: If a vendor or user disagrees with a review’s factual accuracy, we encourage constructive engagement (e.g., posting a response with clarifying details). In certain cases, RigConcierge may request additional information to resolve disputes.
7. Moderation & Enforcement
- Our Right to Remove Content: RigConcierge moderators or staff may remove or edit content that violates these guidelines or our Terms & Conditions, at any time and without notice.
- Possible Penalties: Repeated violations can result in review removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
8. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Site Guidelines to address evolving circumstances, technology changes, or community needs. If we make substantive changes, we’ll post the revised guidelines here with an updated “Effective Date.” Your continued use of RigConcierge after any modifications constitute your acceptance of those changes.
